As someone who has had a Bradley Method natural childbirth, it was the best decision I ever made. I enjoyed my second birth sooo much. I had an epidural with my first and went natural with my second. I will never have a medicated birth again. Natural was wonderful and the Bradley Method is the way to do it.
great to have the video would be much better without music that is louder than voices.
I loved the paper exercise!** I am taking these classes now and I love them!**Worth the money!
Husband-Coached Childbirth by Robert Bradley…great book.
And the Bradley class is totally worth the money. In my opinion, you should do everything you can to come up with the money for the class. Your instructor may accept a payment plan to help you out. And lamaze is not natural breathing. It could actually cause you to hyperventilate. I wouldn’t recommend it and neither did my Bradley instructor. The Bradley method teaches you how to just give in to your body. WONDERFUL!!
I had my baby Dec. 5 and had attended Amy’s class. We were also very broke, on WIC and welfare. Because of Amy’s support during labor (we called her), we were able to deal with the medical staff who kept “threatening” C-Section. I had a wonderful and NATURAL childbirth experience that I wouldn’t change for the world. I am SO glad we made it a high priority, up there with rent, to pay for these classes. Otherwise, I would have had a C-Section and complications that would have been unnecessary.

Wondering how your certification is going/ went.. After our first child (in the next month!) I am considering learning the Bradley Method to become an instructor as well. How did the certification process go? Was it difficult? What was it like?
Two questions- are there any books/videos on the bradley method that I could get online? and Do you think that lamaze works? I want to do natural childbirth, and the lamaze classes are offered for free at the health dept. I really want to do the Bradley Method, but its expensive and I ve already put extra expense into hiring a doula.
