SIDS prevention

There is a condition that causes concern for all new parents. It’s called SIDS, sudden infant death syndrome. SIDS is the leading cause of death in children between 1 month and 1 year of age. However, most SIDS deaths happen when babies are between 2 and 4 months of age. While medical professionals may not have an exact cause for SIDS, there are precautions parents can take to try and keep their little ones safe. 0 to 5 in 30 Minutes! is a product of Valley Public Television. The program is sponsored by First 5 Fresno County and First 5 Tulare County.

Thank you for educating about SIDS and Safe Sleep for Babies… You have to know though you can NOT prevent SIDS from Happening. Using the word prevent or prevention gives parents false hope….
