I am 16 and I am on birth control. My boyfriend and I had sex and the condom broke. I am afraid that the pill doesnt work. I am suppose to get my period this Saturday and I can’t tell if I am having period signs or pregnancy signs. Does anyone know the difference?
If it feels like how you normally feel before your period, then I wouldn’t stress. You might be driving yourself crazy and picturing the symptoms to be new and extreme, so watch yourself to see if your mind is building them up to be bigger than they are. If you are sure that you are feeling things in your body youdefinitelyy haven’t before (I would google some of the obvious ones), then even so, wait a week or so before you start to scare yourself. Keeping yourself calm is very important. For me, symptoms I have that are similar to pregnancy symptoms are bloatedness, daytime sickness, and enlarged breasts. I had to get comfortable with them as I figured them out when I was young before I realized they werent preg. symptoms. Now, if breasts feel especially sore and if the bloatedness feels different and I start getting ill in the morning, amongst many other things, Ill know to worry. As you get to know your body more, as you get older, this won’t be as stressful.

I dont really know the difference in the signs but I am pretty sure that it takes about 6 weeks to notice any signs of being pregnant.
Dont worry too much. birth control is 99% effective when taken properly
Well you can be pregnant and have signs of your period. So there really isn’t a difference. Usually the signs of being pregnant ( sore nipples, nausea , etc don’t start for a few weeks. ). Why are you afraid the pill doesn’t work. If you are taking it daily at the same time, you should be fine. If not , well then you have reason to worry. BUt you are smart using two types because as you now know condoms DO break. good luck.

There is no way to definitely differentiate between the two. The pill works pretty well, I wouldn’t worry. If you don’t get your period, just take a test. That is they only way you can tell if they were from PMS or Pregnancy.
A period is like a large explosion. And a pregnancy is like a holy *****@@@!(@!~~~!!!!
during pregnancy you have morning sickness and usually you dont bleed and your stomach get a lot bigger during pregnancy than your normal period
Most of the time they’re the same until you miss your period and find out that you’re pregnant or you’re not.
9 months — 28 days
baby, etc — blood clot
lifetime responsibility — monthly task
Both are very similar
That’s why We get “Am I pregnant” questions here again n again..
if u are pregnat u will be really tierd and hungry and u will puke alot have ur friend by u a pregnacy test 2 just in case
sorry they are all very similar you will jsut have to wait and see
get ur boyfreind to get a better working condom
yes they are very similar. but don’t worry if you have been taking the pill every day at the same time you should be fine. if you are really worried go to the doctor. i suffer with endo and before i get my period i feel sick and have bad pain in my pelvic area every month so i would never be able to tell the difference. but good luck
