It’s totally normal. That’s pretty mean that your hospital didn’t mention that to you before you went home. Mine told me all about the things that would happen. I know I would freak out if my newborn was having a little “period” and I didn’t know it was normal.

Yes it is 100 percent normal. It is leftover hormones from when we are pregnant that give little girls a baby period so to speak that can last a day or two.
It’s totally normal and it only lasts a few days. It’s a result of all the hormones still in her little body. Don’t worry about it at all but ask your doctor to reassure you and to put your mind at ease.
