I have only had 4 C-Sections, I personally think it is the way to go, after my 1st one I never had Labor, and never went through delivery, Some women seem so desperate to have their babies naturally. What do you think now that you have been through both?

Well, I was in natural labor for 23 hours before receiving an emergency c-section. Though I haven’t experienced them seperately, I have to agree with you- I am all for the c-section. Within 15 mins my little boy was born! It makes being in labor for hours and hours while in a ridiculous amount of pain just seem silly in comparison!
c-section all the way. many reasons; i hate the thought of my vagina getting tore up like that, longer in the hospital and lets face it, the longer you have help with your newborn the better, and when your baby comes out, he/she’s not all “cone headed”.
im only 12 weeks on my first but i keep having mixed feelins about this. i want a c-sec bc im terrified of labor but i dont want to have to go through more recovery…ya know? and really what is so wonderful about passing a child through ur …(clears throat)
childbirth with an epidural
I want to have my baby natural like her coming from the vagina..but im probably gonna get the pain meds..im not good with pain but we will see.
anyways the reason i dont wanna have a c-section is because the fact that they have to cut you open and they use staples here to close it and they dont do very good jobs at it..my sisters look horrible..huge nasty scar, and i rather not go through that..faster healing with baby coming form the vagina, then c-section
i much prefer natural…well I should say I prefer a vaginal birth…I had pain medication, so I can’t really say ‘natural’. I haven’t actually had a c section exactly, I had the same surgery as a c section, minus the baby factor, a few years ago. The recovery sucked, I couldn’t imagine doing it with a new born. Then i had my daughter au naturel 2 years ago, and the recovery was much faster! But to each their own!
I would do any thing not to have a c-section if I were ever to be pregnant again. I had two vaginal deliveries and then a section. Maybe it was just a tough surgery, maybe it was because I had surgery the year before to remove all of my endrometiosis, I don’t know. When I had the surgery they thought they’d have to remove my uterus. Turns out the tissue was every where else and when it was removed I got pregnant immediately. After 4 plus years of not trying but not preventing it. I had a very miserable pregnancy compared to the first two so maybe it was all tied together. I had a c-section 3 days before my due date. My OB was out due to family emergency and when I saw his partner he felt the baby was too big for my pelvis and at least 10 to 12 pounds. I was broad as a barn at that point and my other babies were over 9 pounds but I was so tired and miserable I let the doctor admit me for a pelvic xray. At midnight I heard them dump my water pitcher and knew I was having surgery. I had general anesthesia and was totally asleep. They also did my tubal while I was in surgery.
I had unbelievable pain after the surgery. I needed pain shots every few hours and could not stay awake to see or nurse my baby. He also slept for 3 days with out nursing. I thought I would die when my milk came in because he wasn’t interested. i had to threaten the nursery staffs lives because they wanted to give him a bottle. He would have never nursed then. My second had to bottle feed at the hospital as I had preeclampsia and was on major blood pressure meds. It took me several days to get her to take the breast. I wasn’t going through that again. Luckily he got the hang of nursing like a champ when he finally awoke. Three days with out nursing was really scary. i think it must have been the anesthsia but the doctors said no. But what else? That was over 20 years ago and hopefully they don’t put mothers totally under except in emergencies.
I felt cheated by the whole surgery and that the doctor should have let me try to deliver. BTW he was my smallest baby at 8.8LBS.
EDIT>>>>I must admit he was much prettier than the first 2. His head was so perfect and his little face wasn’t bruised or lop sided.
