    I wish these series of videos didn’t allow comments, so that some of the foolish things said below could not have been posted, as they only help further spread myths, flat-out lies and fear based assumptions. Natural birth is just that people-Natural and safe for low-risk women.

    @ardena14 but i do have to point out, i have heard of doctors that tell me one time they didn’t perform the cut method on their patient and took them hours to stich them up after because they tear all over in hard to stich patterns. i personally am going to do a c-section when i have a baby. i dun want to be at work and all of a sudden go into labor-that out of control feeling.

    @ardena14 sorry to hear that you dislike doctors. i am not always fond of them either. you do pose a good point about not all medical procedures should be “standard” but i do believe each doctor should give their patient a headsup to what method they using, cut or no cut, home or clinic birth. etc. i think doctors need to do more INFORMING instead of beating around the bush. that way patients have a chance to find a diff doctor and not be shocked when they are delivering the baby.

    @roseypinkheartsftw I don’t feel that ANY medical procedures should be “standard”. It all depends on the woman. I personally do not want an episiotomy, EVER. There is much more evidence against that procedure than for it and studies also show that many C-sections in the past few years are performed for completely unnecessary reasons. I want a natural birth only, in a birthing center, with a midwife. I hate doctors, I do not trust them.

    no i feel it should be standard. i knew someone personally who had the cut method and delivered just fine but for her third kid she had a diff doctor – she didnt perform cut method..she teared all over and had incontinence. its pretty awful she had to get labiaplasty at the end to fix it. that’s just my two cents. people don’t have to agree.

    Thank you for your video! I’m having my second natural home birth and I’m due in 3 weeks. It is my plan to forward natural birthing by creating my own video blog. Maybe we will collaborate in the future. Keep up the good work!

    @Tomek0102 the baby will drown! The baby gets oxygen from the mother threw the umbilical cord, for several minutes after the birth. The cord will pulse with the mothers pulse.

    @roseypinkheartsftw
    you mean epsiotomy should *not* be standard?
    it’s a procedure they do that has no scientific basis except it does have proof that it has the oppsoite effect then what they claim it does. Google Laura Shanley from unassisted childbirth who knows that childbirth can even be painfree and orgasmic without any drugs or even assistance

    sounds very interesting. though with either method. do double check with the health staff at home or at hospital to check if they use the “cut method”..otherwise you will tear in places u never wanted and you may need to get labioplasty in the end to fix the problem. it’s not fun. all doctors should take more preventive precautions – the cut method should be standard.

    But with water births, does the baby swallow water when it really needs air?
